Recipe
- Marinate the Meat:
- In a bowl, mix Alemaan Karahi Masala, garlic paste, and ginger paste. Apply the mixture to the meat and marinate.
- For chicken, let it marinate for about 15 minutes. For goat, lamb, or beef, marinate for 1-2 hours for best results.
2. Cook the Meat
- Heat 1 cup of oil in a large karahi or heavy pan on high heat.
- Add the marinated meat and stir-fry for 5-6 minutes, allowing the spices to coat the meat evenly and sear it slightly.
- Add the julienne ginger and cook for another 2 minutes.
- Reduce the heat to low, cover the pot, and cook until the meat is tender. For chicken, this will take about 10 minutes. For goat/lamb/beef, it will take around 45 minutes. Stir occasionally to prevent burning.

3. Prepare the Tomatoes:
- In a separate pan, heat ½ cup of oil over low heat.
- Add the chopped tomatoes and cook for 5-6 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomatoes soften and break down into a thick sauce.
4. Combine and Cook the Karahi:
- Add the cooked tomatoes and sliced green chilies to the meat. Stir to combine.
- Increase the heat to medium and stir-fry the meat with the tomato mixture until the oil separates from the masala (spice mix). Continue stirring constantly to avoid burning.
- If there’s excessive oil, you can remove some, depending on your preference.
5. Serve:
- Serve your delicious Alemaan Karahi hot with naan or rice, and enjoy the rich, flavorful taste of traditional Pakistani cuisine!
