Ingredients Of Tikka Masala
- Paprika
- Red Chili
- Salt
- Muskmelon
- Cumin
- Coriander
- Black Pepper
- Cinnamon
- Brown Cardamom
Recipe
- Prepare the Marinade
- In a bowl, mix Alemaan Tikka Mix with ½ cup of water, minced garlic, and 2 tablespoons of oil to create a smooth marinade.
- Apply this marinade generously to the chicken pieces, ensuring they are fully coated.
- Cover the chicken and leave it to marinate for 3-4 hours to allow the flavors to fully penetrate. (For extra tenderness, you can add ½ cup of thinly sliced papaya to the marinade, then discard it before grilling.).
2. Skewer the Meat
- Once the chicken has marinated, thread the pieces onto skewers, spacing them evenly for consistent cooking.
3. Grill the Chicken
- Preheat your grill or charcoal fire to a very low heat. Place the skewers on the grill, ensuring the chicken doesn’t cook too quickly or burn.
- Grill the chicken lightly on all sides until it is slightly charred.

4. Baste and Rotate
- Lightly brush the chicken with butter or oil while grilling to keep it moist and flavorful.
- Continue rotating the skewers and basting until the chicken is cooked through and tender, approximately 15-20 minutes depending on the size of the pieces.
5. Serve
- Once the chicken is perfectly grilled, serve it with fresh salad, a squeeze of lemon juice, and a side of Alemaan Tamarind Chutney for that extra tangy flavor.
